About the Competition

#HuaweiStartupChallenge3 marked the third edition of a contest organized by Huawei Poland and Startup Academy, directed at Polish startups developing innovations to holistically enhance our health – from prevention and monitoring to treatment.

Every day, thousands of unique ideas emerge, which could revolutionize our world once given a proper support. Collaboration between companies and institutions offers a chance to realize these ideas, thereby improving the life quality of millions. This edition rewarded the most innovative technological solutions aimed at revolutionizing healthcare and contributing to the improvement of significant factors affecting both physical and mental well-being of patients in Poland and globally.

#HuaweiStartupChallenge3 was created to support the development of Polish startups that utilize technology to aid various health aspects.

The most innovative solutions were chosen by an independent Jury, consisting of distinguished representatives from the realms of science, business, and public expertise, based on the evaluation of competition entries.

FINAL GALA

Challenges

We sought innovative ideas on how to revolutionize the world of healthcare. Startups that passed the selection stage participated in a challenge track, designed to refine and popularize their solution!

The Challenge!

The TOP20 startups were tasked with creating a use case in video form, showcasing how users will benefit from their solution! This allowed us to understand how the tool works and presented its key advantages. The created video helped the jury understand the startup's project, and became additional material for teams' social media.

The Task!

Startups from the competition's twenty also recorded 1-minute video pitches, which we then posted on the Huawei Startup Challenge website. The startup with the most votes was awarded the so-called Wild Card and found its place in the HSC Final without Jury assessment!
